Celebrating events and festivals in our school has become an integral part of learning and building a strong cultural belief. Such celebrations bring the students closer to each other’s traditions and cultural beliefs and develop respect and understanding for each other’s customs and traditions.
Hindavi Public School has always cherished its heritage and culture. It strives to educate its students not only through education but also by inculcating values among them.
Patriotism

In school festivals of all castes and religions are celebrated to inculcate the feeling of equality towards all religions. Not only festivals but also national events are celebrated to inculcate patriotism among students.
Why Festivals?
The reason behind celebrating some events is that values like unity, cooperation, should build among students. For example, through Ashadhi Wari, students are taught how to forget all the distinctions of small, big, caste, poor and rich and become immersed in devotion to Vitthal. Also, there should be no selfishness in helping each other.
Respect for all Religions
Eid, Christmas like these festivals is celebrated d in school to introduce the culture of other religions. While celebrating festivals like Ganesh Chaturthi and Diwali, the feeling of oneness is nurtured and social commitment is also maintained.
Not only the event is celebrated but also various activities are taken from which the artistic talents of the students are given space. Post Day, Youth Day, mother-child drawing competitions, are some examples of this.
To Build Relation
Hindavi Public School strives to strengthen its relationship with students and parents. Different competitions are held for parents. Important parental involvement is reported on Sports Day. The event also creates a healthy relationship between the parents and the school. The best event prize is given to the teacher to encourage and motivate them. Teachers always try the involve many students.
