Schools play an essential role in shaping the future of the students. Schools offer the students a high-quality education and also a flexible curriculum. Thus, it helps in improving the students’ cognitive ability. Many schools have gone beyond the traditional method of learning and brought up new concepts.

Our Hindavi Public School also has a Motto – ‘’ We Re-define Education with Culture .’’ Our school is one of the best state board English Medium Schools in Satara. The establishment year of our school is 16th June 2003.

The National Education Policy ( NEP 2020 ) was approved by the Union Cabinet of India on 29th July 2020. According to this new National Education Policy …… that is the ( 5+3+3+4 ) structure of school. This changed structure of education is best and appreciable.

No matter what careers students ultimately pursue, they graduate prepared to use their talents to the fullest to improve their world.

Languages

we help students learn a new language and fall in love with it for life.  In Upper School, language skills are complemented by opportunities to travel and connect with other cultures.

We recognize that some students arrive already fluent in another language, and we make every effort to differentiate instruction for these students.

Advanced study ensures that Upper School students graduate with high language proficiency and appropriate intercultural communication skills.

Science and Technology

Upper School students complete traditional college preparatory courses – biology, chemistry, and physics. Academic rigor is balanced by a spirit of wonder, inquiry, and creativity. Students might build complex mechanical devices, such as turntables based on the principles of electricity and magnetism. They might spend an evening outside studying the stars. Whatever exploration they engage in, students retain their passion for scientific understanding. All students complete departmental requirements to graduate: an introductory biology course in grade nine and at least one semester apiece of chemistry and physics (grades ten through twelve). Through upper-level electives, students can explore subjects ranging from genetics to environmental science to scientific writing.

Mathematics

Mathematics study at Hindavi is both challenging and fun. Students learn to use math as a tool for solving problems by thinking conceptually. Instruction goes far beyond dry formulas, analyzing why a result is true or a particular strategy works. Throughout the divisions, courses emphasize the same key elements.

Although Upper School students are required to complete four semesters of math, most opt to take math every semester, choosing appropriate courses for their goals. After completing Algebra II and Geometry (or their equivalents), students choose courses based on whether their primary interests lie in humanities and social sciences or in applied sciences and pure mathematics. Students choose among various Advanced Placement and post-Advanced Placement courses, such as AP Statistics, and are encouraged to take math electives covering topics such as number theory, logic, research in mathematics, and software design. They continue to draw connections between mathematical concepts and the world around them – for example, studying independent and dependent variables by working with a partner to construct a game based on compound events. Students become independent and persistent mathematical thinkers who derive satisfaction from solving challenging mathematics problems.

Social Studies

Our Upper School social studies curriculum continues the broad objectives set forth in earlier grades. It helps students become global citizens who think critically and act with a sense of social responsibility.

All students take World Cultures. These electives, covering topics ranging from constitutional studies to comparative religion, deepen students’ understanding of the world in which we live and how they can make a difference. Course activities and projects vary greatly.

Physical Education

At Hindavi, physical education isn’t just about improving health or building up athletic skills. Yes, students learn how to lead healthy, physically active lives – but in the process, they also develop valuable cognitive, emotional, and social skills. Physical education builds character, self-discipline, and decision-making capabilities.

Our mission is to create an atmosphere that is dynamic, but also safe and supportive. Every student is appropriately challenged and taught the skills he or she needs to succeed. Physical Education at the Lower and Middle School levels teaches students the value of physical activity for health, enjoyment, self-expression, and social collaboration. In addition, Physical education provides students with the knowledge, concepts, and principles to lead and maintain a healthy lifestyle long beyond their years.
